Over more than 30 years, Mark has led innovation, AI and digital transformation, helping organisations turn emerging technologies into products that solve complex problems at scale. He has built and led multidisciplinary teams across strategy, user research, product development, design, engineering and artificial intelligence, creating enterprise software, launching new business ventures and bringing innovative products to market. 

Today, Mark combines that experience with a deep commitment to helping organisations adopt AI safely, responsibly and with purpose. Working alongside advice providers, charities and housing organisations, he focuses on reducing administrative burden, improving consistency and giving frontline professionals more time for the people they support, while ensuring trust, transparency and professional judgement remain at the heart of every solution. 

What drives me?

“My mum gave me the idea for Wyser, she said if I could help people avoid the mistakes we made by giving them good advice, I should. My dad told me I’d never amount to anything. I’ve spent my career trying to prove one of them right.”

“People think AI is magic, flip a switch and it works. The reality is the opposite: getting it to actually work for a client takes real change management and a fair amount of consultancy to bespoke the outputs to them.”

What excites you most about the future?

“More people getting the right help at the right time, because of AI outputs they can trust, that’s what Wyser’s building toward. And front-line advice staff who don’t burn out, because AI is helping them manage their workload instead of adding to it.”

Outside of Wyser… 

Dad to three (9, 11 and 13), one’s into climbing and netball, another dance and baking, another tennis and Lego. I play a bit of tennis myself and I’m usually halfway through a DIY project I underestimated.
